Black Knight Band Boosters

A volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the students and directors of the Belding Schools Music program and affiliates.

We work hand-in-hand with school staff and families to enhance the music experience through fundraising, event support, and advocacy. Our mission is to ensure that every student has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and the tools they need to succeed — both on and off the field or stage.

We proudly support music students at both Belding Middle School and Belding High School, with the majority of our resources directed toward the high school program to help meet the demands of marching band season, competitions, and travel.

Through our efforts, we help fund essentials like instruments, uniforms, travel expenses, band camp, competition fees, and more. Whether it's cheering from the stands, organizing events, or raising the funds that keep our program strong, the Black Knight Band Boosters are proud to stand behind our talented students and the music they bring to life.

Belding Bands · Winter Guard

Three guards.
One pipeline.

From first-year flag work at Woodview Elementary to Scholastic AA competition at the high school, Belding's winter guard programs compete together in the Michigan Color Guard Circuit — building performers one season at a time.

Growing every year, together

Each Belding winter guard trains and competes independently, but they share equipment, choreography lineage, and — most importantly — performers who move up through the program. Scroll down to meet all three.

Belding Cadets

Woodview Elementary · Grades 4–5

The youngest members of the Belding winter guard family, the Cadets are made up of 4th and 5th graders from Woodview Elementary. Now heading into their second season, they're learning flag basics, spacing, and performance confidence — the first steps on the path to the middle school and high school guards.
